CICLO PRIMARIO

Los alumnos de primero y segundo grado fueron al Museo Saavedra a ver la obra “La pequeña Aldea”.

Arte
El miércoles 28 de abril tuvimos la presentación del taller de plástica extraprogramático que Jimena Goyes y Mercedes Ramayón comenzaron en mayo.


Ajedrez
Con un fuerte aplauso, los alumnos de 5° grado recibieron al Prof. Martín Pires. Comenzaron las partidas los martes en la última hora de la tarde!!

El viernes 7 de mayo vino al colegio el Grupo Magno para representar la obra “Jettatore” a los alumnos de 4°, 5°, 6° y 7° grado.
También en mayo, los chicos de 1° y 2°, tuvieron un taller de ecología en el Espacio Cetol, a pocas cuadras del colegio. En paralelo, están trabajando en un proyecto de animales y aprendiendo un montón...sabían que la pantera negra es un leopardo completamente negro...manchas negras sobre un fondo de piel negra? Les contamos otro secreto: el búho real puede girar tanto la cabeza que logra verse la espalda!

With great enthusiasm the children went to the theatre to see The Buenos Aires Players’ performances. This year, 1st, 2nd and 3rd form students had fun seeing “The New York Mice”. Young mice who like playing in the streets of New York at night. Gertrude, a bad witch, who wants to turn the mice into cats and vice versa! Daisy, a lovely cat, who is trapped by this witch. Unexpected saviours who come to rescue Daisy.
4th, 5th and 6th form students enjoyed “Quasimodo”. The deformed bell ringer in Notre Dame, led by the beautiful and lovely gipsy Esmeralda, finds himself outdoors for the first time in his life. They were in the streets of Paris trying to discover the way to freedom and dignity.
A LOT OF FUN!!

1st Form:
They are working hard and learning a lot in first form. They can describe simple objects and say where the things are. They can count up to forty and classify living and non living things. They can also spell their names. They like songs and class games.

2nd Form:
They are reading and analyzing “Archie’s sweet shop”. They are writing about their friends. They go to the lab to read stories. Their weekly dictations are based on poems so as to practise sounds. They have started Mathematics and getting ready for Science!

3rd Form:
In Mathematics students have been learning “addition” and they have also been solving problems. They enjoy Mathematics a lot especially when they work with blocks. They also enjoy going to the Science Lab. Every week they go to the library to take a book and retell what they have read.

4th Form:
In Science they have made their first experiment: How to soften the shell of an egg!! They are doing this new experience and ready for their next experiment. In Mathematics they have been learning “addition” and “subtraction”. They work out problems using blocks.

5th Form:
They had some oral presentations, “Show and Tell”, that students really enjoyed. In Science students have been learning about “plants” and they started attending Science at the Lab.

6th Form:
The children had some “Show and Tell” which they enjoyed a lot. They also go to the Science Lab to follow the schedule and the CIPP.

5th and 6th form students have also started rehearsing “Hamlet”, our first play!!
